One day. Thirteen speakers. Unlimited networking opportunities! Leadership Cattaraugus and Leadership Allegany are pleased to announce the speakers for this year’s Southern Tier Leadership Summit on Aug. 3 at St. Bonaventure University.
Each August, we bring together emerging leaders from across the region to share new strategies that will help them become more effective leaders.
The 2017 keynote speaker will be Dr. Matrecia S. Long James, dean of the School of Business at St. Bonaventure, whose address is titled “The Trust Factor: A Critical Component of Effective Leadership.” Dr. James will emphasize the importance and impact of authentic leadership in today’s society.
The daylong conference includes the keynote address, continental breakfast and lunch, and a selection of three leadership sessions of your choosing. The cost is $55. This year’s breakout session topics include Mentoring, Employee Engagement, Metrics, From Skepticism to Trust, Beyond the (Gender) Divide, Checking Your Ego, Building Work Relationships, Success in Turbulent Times, Becoming a LinkedIn All-Star, Strengths-based Leadership, Professionalism in the Workplace, and Identifying Critical Issues and Goals.
