Leadership Cattaraugus (LC), a premier leadership development program that cultivates future civic and community leaders, is now accepting applications for its 2025 cohort.
Applications, available at www.leadershipcattaraugus.org, are open to professionals eager to enhance their leadership skills and engage with local industries, community leaders, and issues shaping Cattaraugus County.
“Leadership Cattaraugus is about more than personal development – it’s about building a network of informed, active leaders who collaborate to create a stronger, more vibrant community,” Jodi Fuller, board president, said. “With each new cohort, we see participants not only grow in their leadership abilities but also discover meaningful ways to contribute to the future of Cattaraugus County.”
Selected participants will be notified in December, with the program kicking off Jan. 21-22 with a day-and-a-half retreat.
Tuition of $1,400 covers all program materials, meals, and events for the program, which runs from January to October.
Participants in the 10-month experiential program engage in interactive sessions focused on key regional topics, including economic development, health care, education, tourism, manufacturing, and local government. Networking and leadership development are also integral components, helping graduates build meaningful connections across industries.
The program is open to individuals who live or work in Cattaraugus County. Companies and individuals are encouraged to apply early, as enrollment is capped at 25 participants. For more information and a schedule of 2025 program dates, visit www.leadershipcattaraugus.org or call 716-201-0253.
Established in 2003, Leadership Cattaraugus was formed as a collaborative effort by Jamestown Community College (Cattaraugus County Campus), Intandem (formerly The ReHabilitation Center), Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, and St. Bonaventure University.
The program has since grown into a cornerstone of professional development in the region, with more than 250 alumni serving on nonprofit and organizational boards across the county.
Tuition assistance is available for qualified applicants. Scholarships are available through the Leadership Cattaraugus scholarship fund, managed by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.
