Members of the current Leadership Cattaraugus class gathered at the Challenger Learning Center on April 18 for Leadership Day.
During the day’s morning session, Dan Antonioli from Cutco further elaborated on Platinum Rule concepts introduced during the class’s opening retreat in March. Discussions also centered around effective leadership skills and working with others who have different leadership styles.
As part of his presentation, Antonioli had members of the cohort break into small group and participate in several team-building and leadership exercises.
The Challenger Center staff gave a tour of the facility and led the group in an exercise in which teams designed, built and launched paper rockets. The 2017 Leadership Cattaraugus class will meet next on May 16 for Government Services Day.
